Dum Ka Qeema


  • Minced meat (beef / mutton) 1 Kg (Fine minced by machine twice)
  • Yogurt beaten 1 1/2 cup
  • Papaya Rice 1 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Ginger paste 2tbsp
  • Ginger (Julienne) 1tbsp
  • Mint 2 tbsp
  • Coal 1 small piece
  • Habib Cooking Oil / Banaspati 1/2 cup
  • Habib Dum Ka Qeema Recipe Mix 1 packet


1- Marinate the meat, papaya, ginger paste, yogurt and Habib Dum ka Qeema Recipe Mix and keep aside for 2-3 hours. Take minced meat in a cooking pan and place a piece of bread in it.

2- Heat the coal piece until red and place in on the bread. Pour 1 tbsp of oil on coal and cover the pan for 10 minutes. Remove the bread and coal piece from the pan.

3- Cook the minced meat on medium flame for 30-35 minutes or till water dries up. Stir occasionally.

4- In a separate pan fry onion till golden and add into minced meat. Cook further on low flame for 10-15 minutes or till oil separates from meat. Habib Dum ka Qeema is now ready. Garnish the dish with chopped mint, ginger julienne, cube lemon and onion rings. Serve hot with naans.
