- Beef/chicken/mutton 1Kg,
- Rice soaked 1Kg,
- Yogurt (beaten) 1 1/2 cups
- Onions 5 Medium sized
- Tomatoes 1/2 Kg
- Potatoes 1/2 Kg
- Ginger paste 2tbsp
- Garlic paste 2tbsp
- Green Chillies 8 to 9
- Coriander & Mint leaves (chopped) 4tbsp
- Lemon Juice 3 tbsp
- Habib Cooking Oil / Banaspati 1 1/4 cups
- Habib Bombay Biryani Recipe Mix 1 packet
1- Fry onion in Habib Cooking Oil / Banaspati till golden brown, then add meat, ginger, garlic and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add yogurt, tomatoes, potatoes, green chillies, Habib Bombay Biryani Recipe Mix and cook for10 to 15 minutes till meat gets tender and oil separates.
2- Boil the Rice in 9 to 10 glasses of water. Add 3 tbsp of salt. Boil till rice is half done.
3- In a separate pan, spread alternate layers of rice and meat curry along with fresh coriander and mint leaves and allow it to simmer for 10 – 15 minutes.
Serve hot with Raita and Salad.
